Important! Images in LORI (or anywhere on the Internet) are best viewed at their native resolution. This is why image size are noted in all LORI entries. Zooming beyond the size of the image will degrade its quality. Clicking on an image will display the image at a larger size than that shown in a entry BUT not necessarily at its native size. To see an image at its true size, with its best resolution, it should be downloaded and opened in an image viewing program OR opened in a separate tab (click right and select that option) then scrolled to its native size. This is especially important for histological images and others with fine detail. Screen resolution and quality will also affect the final appearance of an mage.
